Throttle Body Comparison
This is a comparison of 2 H-D fuel injected throttle bodies. These were pulled off to get ported along with the heads. This is something we have seen before and is not an exception. They were not cleaned up, honestly- no b.s., (as you can see in pic. 1) only dissasembled of necessary parts. Both bodies were taken in the same amount of light and in the same spot as the other. Both had a SE air filter/breather kit installed at low miles.

This (pic. 2) is off of a '00 Road Glide with 8,000 miles. We installed and mapped a PC2 at 500 miles. Note how much cleaner it is when compared to pic. 3. The butterfly's look new with no build up of any kind. The throat is relatively clean.

This (pic. 3) is off of a '01 Road King with less than 5,000 miles. It had the Stage 1 kit installed with no PC2. Note how black everything is when compared to pic. 2. The butterfly's are black and so is most of the throat. The camera would'nt show black spots on the bottom of the body about half way in which would be gas residue. This is due to a rich condition that we have found with most chips that plug in and are not programmable.

These are the ends of the bodies that bolt right to the heads. Pic.1 body is on the left and pic. 2 body on the right. The injectors are positioned in the "towers" above the arrow and squirt fuel down like the arrow shows. Neither bodies have been cleaned. The left one is amazingly clean due to the proper amount of gas being squirted out of the injector. The one on the right has build up due to being overly rich.
